Installation of a 3D Printer at the Design and Technology Lab
As a token of appreciation for successfully running the Computer Aided Design (CAD) Academy Program, the College received a state-of-the-art 3D printer from Advanced Design Colleges (ADC) on Monday.
Our students have consistently been stand-out performers in the CAD National Competitions, with our CAD team having scooped a silver medal in last year’s Computer-Aided Design National Competitions held at Falcon College. The addition of the 3D printer will further enhance their capabilities as they will be able to print their projects, bringing them to life with pinpoint accuracy.
Speaking at the 3D printer presentation the College Headmaster, Mr Maganga, expressed his gratitude to the ADC team.
“We are so excited to be receiving this 3D printer which is going to enhance the learning experience of our students here at St Ignatius College. This actually underpins the commitment of Advanced Design Colleges to help develop skills within high school learners particularly here at St Ignatius College. So (once again) we want to thank you very much.”
