The much-anticipated event was attended by parents, staff, alumni, and fellow partners in the educational sector were among those in what was a joyous affair with song, dance, and fun-filled fundraising activities.

The event kicked off with warm remarks from the College Administrator, Mr Choto, who welcomed the audience to the dinner. This was then followed by a speech from one of the school’s alumni members, Mr Mashiri. Mr Mashiri, who is part of the Class of 1993 which is famously known as “The Hardcore” talked about how the College helped shape him to become the man that he is today. In his remarks, he said that the College’s values and ethos helped to instill an ethic of working hard while also shaping him from a character standpoint and teaching him the importance of giving back to the community.

The SDC representative, Mr Charandura, also had a few words to say as he highlighted the many projects that the SDC has been involved in which are aimed at improving the school. He also encouraged other parents to be involved in the school projects as they are also a part of the school. This was then followed by music and dancing with our vibrant MCs’ keeping the audience laughing all the way.

The College Rector, Prof Fr L. Daka SJ, concluded proceedings for the night as he talked about the school and outlined its vision and plans for the future. All in all, the event was a special night to remember, featuring a sumptuous meal and an exuberant atmosphere.
