The College had the incredible honor of hosting the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Father Arturo Sosa on Friday. Upon arriving at the school, Fr Sosa was warmly greeted by the College management, staff, parents and learners who jubilantly welcomed the revered priest.
Fr Sosa was then taken on a tour of the school after which he took part in the Groundbreaking ceremony of the College’s expansion project where he was the guest of honor. Speaking at the ceremony, the Superior General commended the College for the great strides it is making while also urging the school to remain centered on Christian faith.
“We want the future to be more human, to prioritise justice that’s why we have to prepare for it. The future will not come by its own it will come by our hands. So, Jesuit education will ensure that our children are taught these values. That’s why it’s so important to maintain this and our Christian faith,” he said.
After delivering his speech, Fr Arturo Sosa blessed the expansion site. All in all, the ceremony was well attended by various stakeholders of the College on what was a special day for the school.
